Beautycon NYC Experience 2015

On Saturday, October 17th, I attended beautycon NYC for the first time, and if you ever have the chance to go, take it. Basically, for a little bit of background info, beautycon is a convention for youtubers, makeup companies, and bloggers to go and hang out, meet others and their fans, and have a great time.

There are so many booths to go to, so you will definitely find one for you, and there are panels about fashion, beauty, being yourself, etc. In addition, there are meet and greets to attend and celebrity performances. And don’t worry! If you don’t live on the east coast, there is a Beautycon LA and London too! Plus one more location that is voted on each year.

To sum up my day in one word: impressed. I was a little nervous because I only purchased a GA (or general admission) ticket, rather than pro or platinum. With a GA ticket you can go into the venue but can not attend any M&G’s for $40. Pro and platinum you get 2/3 meet-ups and the prices are significantly greater ranging from $150-300! Let me just tell you, GA is totally worth it because you get a ton of free goodies from the booths, and the price of them all is probably more than $40, so you are getting what you payed for and more! And, all the Youtubers and singers that you could meet in one of the M&G’s, you could meet inside. They are all walking around and you could approach one easily for a picture. Honestly, it is not worth the money to get pro/platinum.

At this event, I met so many wonderful people and to list a few: Nikki Phillippi, Niki and Gabi, Tess Christine, Adelaine Morin, Chelsea Crockett, Monica and Shelby Church, Tori Sterling, Nathalie Paris, and a ton more! All of them were incredibly sweet and super gorgeous in real life. I even attended Bethany Mota’s panel and got to ask her a question. Then, when she was walking off the stage, she grabbed my hand, looked me in the eyes and said “I love you so much babe.”

This day was unbelievable and I can’t wait to go back next year. Hopefully, one of you will go to!

I will post another blog tomorrow for my beautycon haul, so stay tuned for that.
