Favorite Cruelty Free Brands

If you read my last post, which you can check out here, you know that I recently switched to using cruelty-free makeup only. This meant I got rid of a ton, so I started trying out new brands to replace the products I no longer had.

I tried out a lot of new products these past 2 weeks, so I want to help you out by telling you my favorite brands!

NYX: I have many products from NYX, but recently I have been purchasing even more. I fell in love with the pot concealer pictured above. It provides a full coverage but still feels light weight on my skin. Another product I love of theirs is the butter lipstick. There are so many colors it comes in and glides on smoothly.

ColourPop: Unfortunately ColourPop only sells online but the products offered are so affordable and amazing that it is worth the wait of shipping. My favorite product they sell is the highlighters. I really recommend them because they work so well and have a few options to choose from. They make perfect gifts.

BH Cosmetics: I recently started using this brand (haul will be up soon) and I instantly fell in love. Very inexpensive but the quality is amazing. Every product is worth the purchase. The eyeshadows in the palettes are so pigmented, and their foundation has great coverage and texture. Definitely going to be purchasing from them again soon.

Physicians Formula: I only own one product from this brand but I really love it. The highlighter from this quad is really nice, as well as the blush. I use this product basically everyday. I have also heard many great things about the other products as well, and will be trying them out soon.

Urban Decay: I have purchased many products from Urban decay in the past. I believe this brand is most well known for the primer potion, as well as the Naked palettes. I love both of those and barely go a day without using them. A bit on the pricier side, but the pigmentation in the palettes is insane, and will last you a long time.

Anastasia: From Anastasia I only own one product currently and it is the brow pencil but it is the best one I have ever used. The application is easy, and the packaging is small and compact. I hope to expand my collection of products from this company.

Laura Geller: Laura Geller has many products worth trying out, including this primer. It is the only primer I use, and quite honestly, the only one I have ever liked. It leaves my skin feeling so soft. I also have a felt tip eyeliner that I love from Laura Geller. Ulta sells sets of products from this brand that I recommend buying!

Tarte: I used to own the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation and it was such a great foundation, and so many people use it. I unfortunately ran out well over a year ago and never restocked, but probably will soon. Although the mascara pictured is one I do not really like, I know Tarte products are amazing nonetheless.

Those are all the cruelty free brands I have been loving! Do you have any cruelty free brands I should try out? I would love to know, just leave me a comment. Also, I want to start blogging more and maybe eventually daily, so check back often to see if there are any new posts!

    1. I really like it! I would say it’s only medium coverage so I usually put on a second layer but it leaves my face really smooth and doesn’t look Cake-y! I would recommend trying it 🙂
