books i will probably never read tag!

A really hyped book that you’re not interested in reading

I was super interested in these books a few years ago, but I kept putting them off. Now that I have grown up, I don’t think these books will be as interesting to me and I won’t relate to them as much. I have a little regret about not reading these when I was in my prime fangirling phase, because I don’t think I will ever read these now.

A series you won’t start/won’t be finishing

Passenger was such a boring book to me. I could barely get through it, and although there was a cliffhanger at the end, I don’t see myself ever picking up the next book. Red Queen was alright, but just too slow for me. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I had hoped, and I don’t really want to read the rest.

A classic you’re just not interested in

I honestly don’t know much about this book but it has never appealed to me and I really don’t see myself ever picking this up on my own.

A genre you never read

I don’t read a lot of historical fiction I realized, because I tend to lean towards books that are set in modern times. I am not a history person in general, so I don’t pick these books up often. I also don’t read a lot of Non-fiction, but I am hoping to start reading some more!

A book on your shelves you’ll probably never read

I bought both of these without realizing they aren’t the first books of the series. I haven’t had the desire to buy the rest of the series of either of these books, so I probably won’t be getting to them anytime soon (if ever).

  1. I was a victim of Fangirl! I bought it because I thought that the story was about a girl fangirl-ing about someone but.. ugh. It disappointed me. The title was misleading.

And it has excerpts of the Carry On book and I didn’t even like it. It felt like a HP-dupe for me or idk. Maybe it wasn’t really just for me.

Though I loved Rowell’s Attachments, Landline & Eleanor and Park.

  2. I’m definitely going to do this tag! I loved Fangirl, but I have no interest in Carry On. I’m also probably never going to read A Court of Thorns and Roses and the two after it (no, not probably. I won’t.).

  3. I do hope you give Rowell’s books a chance, I read Carry On a few months ago and I absolutely fell in love with it, it sure gives HP vibe but then it becomes a whole new story of its own and I enjoyed Fangirl as well. And I agree with Red Queen, I won’t be picking up the rest of the series either.
