April TBR

March was a long month. I’m hoping April just flies by though because I am so excited for everything I have planned in May. But, for now, here is my TBR for April (it’s a little late, I know).

We Are The Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson

I have been reading this for a long time now but the book is just so long, it’s hard to get through! Plus, I am not really loving it, so that makes reading it even harder. However, I do know there is a lot of hype surrounding it, and I am already 1/2 way through, so I want to finish it.

The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson

This is my book club book for this month, so I know I will definitely get to it! I am almost done with my required reading for the week, and by the time this goes up, I am sure I will have finished the first 5 chapters! If you are interested in joining the book club, check out my post here!

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

If you have read a few of my past posts, you will know that this is my all time favorite book in the entire world. I have read it twice, and now that I own my own copy, I wanted to read it for a third time to annotate it. I am 1/4 of the way through, and I really hope to finish it within the next week or so!

The New Neighbors by Simon Lelic

I got an advanced copy of this book but I didn’t realize it was coming out so soon (April 10th). I am going to get onto reading this right after I finish writing this blog post. I am pretty sure it is a murder mystery novel, so I am excited to get into it!

The Girl Who Never Read Noam Chomsky by Jana Casale

This is another ARC that I was given, and I have also not gotten around to it yet and it comes out April 17th. These next few weeks are going to drive me crazy with release dates, but I am very determined to finish!

  1. We are the Ants looks really interesting to me, but I haven’t gotten the chance to read it myself. I read To Kill a Mockingbird for school, and it was a pretty good read for me! Good luck this month!
